Empire Beauty School graduate Elizabeth Strong has built a 27-year career that has taken her from the salon floor to New York Fashion Week.

A 1998 graduate of Empire Beauty School in Whitehall, Pennsylvania, Elizabeth is the owner of Elizabeth Anthony Salon in Allentown. Named after her son, Anthony, the salon celebrated 23 years in business in March of 2026.

Today, November 16th, Empire Beauty School is holding their National Day of Beauty Event! On this special day, our 76 school locations will be open to everyone for a special day to not only revitalize their look but to also give back to those in need.

All proceeds earned from student salon services will be donated to local anti-domestic violence programs and shelters. Even if you can't attend, you can still show your support by buying a $1 donation card throughout the entire month of November.
