We are in the season of transitions and not just in nature but for hair too.

Her natural copper blonde got a little more depth with a deep copper-violet root, finished with a soft balayage to bring everything together.

The result feels effortless ✨

A gentle transition into fall with just enough richness and dimension, while still letting a little bit of a well-lived, beautiful summer in Maine linger in her locks.

So many of my clients come to me looking for subtlety when moving from season to season. Not a dramatic change, but a soft pop that feels natural, intentional, and completely their own.

It’s been such an inspiring week at the studio with lots of new ideas, creative energy, and little developments taking shape 🧚‍♀️

Growing out hair that has been permanently colored is a process.

For her, that meant breaking the cycle of refreshing her color every few weeks, only to be met with that harsh, inevitable line of demarcation as it grew out.

Sitting in our chair, she begins her journey of shifting away from permanent color and toward semi-permanent color, creating a softer, more natural grow-out and an easier rhythm of maintenance.

There’s no rush to get there. We’ll keep refining, tweaking, and listening to her hair along the way, letting the color evolve naturally through each stage of the transition.
