Okay, if your internet history is basically a combination of:
“Why am I overthinking this?”
“Is this anxious attachment?”
“Why do I feel so activated when someone pulls away?”
“How do I stop repeating this pattern?”
😂 You might want to stick around.

I’m Haile, a nervous system coach and emotional processing practitioner, and I created this space for women who want to understand their relationship patterns at a deeper level. We’ll talk about nervous system regulation, somatic healing, attachment, emotional processing, relationship dynamics, and all the messy parts of love that nobody really prepares us for.

A day in my life as a nervous system coach, and what I do to stay steady for it.I love this work! I also spend my days with people at their rawest, and I can’t skip my own tending and still show up well for them. Go touch grass! Get some movement! And get some sun! Save this for the day you’re running low. Send it to the friend who gives and gives. And follow along if you want the real version of how I do this, not the polished one. attachmentstyle healingjourney

I used to say “I’m fine” all the time. Even when I wasn't.
I wanted more affection. I wanted more consistency.
Something hurt. I needed reassurance. So I swallowed it.
Then wondered why I felt resentful and disconnected.
Girl. 😭

Being “easygoing” can become a really good way of disappearing from your own relationship. You stop saying what you want. You make excuses for what hurts. You convince yourself you don't need much. Until you barely know what you need anymore.

Healing meant getting honest again.
“I want this.”
“That hurt me.”
“I need more.”
Then watching what happens when you actually say it.

If you’re realizing you’ve been making yourself smaller to keep the peace, comment CONSULTATION so I can help you speak up about your needs, wants and desires🤍

I wish someone had told me this when I was deep in my anxious attachment. You can get so focused on fixing yourself that you start questioning every single thing you feel.
“I want more communication.”
Am I needy?
“I want consistency.”
Am I asking for too much?
“That hurt me.”
Am I just triggered?
Girl. 😭

I spent years overanalyzing texts, rereading conversations, and wondering if every uncomfortable feeling was something I needed to heal. Sometimes I needed to regulate. Sometimes I needed to speak up. And sometimes I needed to pay attention to what was actually happening in the relationship. Get specific about what you need.
Say it. Then watch what happens. That information matters.

There was a time when him pulling away sent me straight into chase mode. Check the phone, reread the texts, and wonder what changed. Try to fix it and try to get him back. Freaking exhausting.

Then one day, I realized how much of my life was being organised around someone else’s availability. I didn’t want to spend my life waiting for the next text to feel okay.

So I started learning how to stay with myself when someone pulled away. I stopped chasing clarity from someone who wasn’t giving it. I stopped making his distance mean something about my worth. And slowly… the urge to chase started losing its grip. That feeling? Freedom.

If you’re stuck in the hot and cold cycle and keep wondering why you want him even more when he pulls away, comment TOOL and I’ll send you the Push Pull Cycle Visualizer. It will show you exactly where you are in the cycle. 🤍

Comment TOOL and I would love to send you an easy way to find out what type of anxious attacher you are so you can stop abandoning yourself.

I used to think I was just easygoing.
“Whatever you want.”
“I'm fine.”
“I don't care.”

Meanwhile, I was getting really good at disappearing inside my relationships. 😂 The question that changed things for me:
“What do I actually want?”
Start with dinner. Your plans. What you like. What you need.

If this feels familiar, take “What Kind of Anxious Attacher Are You?” It can help you understand whether you tend to be the Chaser, Pleaser, Detective, or Ghost.

I used to think I needed to know what was going on.

Why hasn't he answered?
Was that text weird?
Is he pulling away?
Did I do something?
Then he'd text, and suddenly I was fine.
Until the next time.

That was a big part of my anxious attachment pattern.
I had to learn what happened in my body when I didn't have an answer.

If you're someone who overthinks texts, needs reassurance, or spirals when someone pulls away, you might recognize this one. There's more than one kind of anxious attacher. Are you the Chaser, the Pleaser, the Detective, or the Ghost?

Comment TOOL, and you can find out what kind of anxious attacher you are.

Sometimes you don't miss him.

You miss knowing where you stand, knowing he wants you, and knowing the relationship is okay. You miss the relief that comes when he finally texts and your body can relax again. That can make an uncertain relationship feel incredibly hard to step away from. Especially when the good moments give you just enough reassurance to keep waiting for the next one.

I've been there and the uncertainty can become its own kind of attachment.

I used to check my phone like it was going to give me a completely different answer every five minutes.

He hasn't texted, but he's online.
He hasn't texted, and he’s still online.

Okay, now I'm checking his location. What the heck is wrong with me?

If you've ever done this, you know how quickly relationship anxiety can take over.

Anxious attachment can make uncertainty feel huge.

You start looking for clues.

His activity, wording, location, and even the timing of his reply.

Every little thing becomes evidence.

Then he finally texts and suddenly you're wondering why you were so worked up in the first place.

I've been there…a lot!

Learning to recognize what happens in your nervous system when you don't have an answer changed the way I handled these moments.
