Masseuse = so 1900’s, out dated.
Licensed Massage Therapist = Professional, Modern terminology.
“What’s the big deal?”
“So what, don’t you just rub people all day?”
“Oh please, you’re not a doctor!”
If you say masseuse and I correct you, don’t take offense! I’m well aware massage therapy isn’t as prestigious as a doctor but the time and energy that was put into becoming licensed deserves some recognition too!

Reminder: Do not get a massage if you are sick, we can reschedule with no charge! Just let me know as soon as you made the decision. If you feel achy and have a tickle in your throat, stay home. If you show up sick, I have the right to refuse services and will ask you to leave.
I have hand sanitizer to help stop the spread and I have also included a mask in my basket so if you feel more comfortable wearing a mask during this time of year, the option is available. The mask is the only thing from the basket that you can and should take home with you. ‘Tis the season! 🍂
Just a few things I have encountered during my 8.5 years of Massage Therapy:
- I’m not a “Masseuse”, I’m a Licensed Massage Therapist.
- Just know, if a loose hair is stuck on my fingers and following me through out the massage, it’s secretly sending me.
- If you ask me if I engage in prostitution, you are immediately blocked and black listed.
- Pain does not mean better results, and never grab my hands, use your words.
- I’m not a miracle worker.
- I know I’m good at what I do but please keep audible noises to a minimum.
- If Massage Therapy was my hobby I wouldn’t be doing it full time. 😬
Massage Therapy doesn’t get the respect it deserves and clients can be wild but you have to experience the crazy to appreciate the peace. 😅
Interviewer: “Do you have any weaknesses?”
Me: “Yes, looking into a camera and talking off the cuff.” 💀
Anyways, I learned something new and thought I’d share, enjoy!

Sports massage? Florescent lighting on? Part of a pyramid scheme? “Beating up” my clients? Could never be me 😵
Don’t get me wrong, if you like that kind of thing, to each their own and I know I few places to refer you too! But here, I’m focused on being calm, soothing, being kind & respectful, and having a therapeutic & healing approach.🫶
