I have no good news about my health status to share but the people surrounding me are making me so happy. Thank you to everyone for continuing to uplift me with the flowers, cards, gifts, meals, and visits. My faith is strong and I remain hopeful that I’ll be around a little longer.

This past weekend was physically challenging leading up to yesterday(Chemo day). The pain was the worst on the left side of my body from my skull, ear, neck, shoulder(underneath the blade), lower back. Nothing was touching this nagging pain until I did some research and came across a supplement that has been used since ancient Biblical times…I can’t tell you enough about how good Jehovah God is and prayer. I know He’s listening. I know He knows I was desperately seeking relief. The doctors prefer to prescribe narcotics that knock you out but I don’t want to be in that state. I want to be functional and enjoy what life I have left.
So here’s what happened: I was scrolling through a Facebook Group for those with Stage IV Breast Cancer and one of the Admins posted this PDF book by a Naturopathic Oncology Doctor from Canada. Basically he integrates naturopathic medicines and food with chemotherapy/radiation treatments for his patients and wrote a book about it. So in this book, he mentioned one of his remedies for pain called Boswellia Extract (Indian Frankincense) known to be just as good or better than NSAIDS in that it wouldn’t cause gastrointestinal/heart issues. I did further research to make sure it wouldn’t interact with other meds I’m taking. Sounded like a win to me. I immediately ordered it on Amazon and took it today. Wow, what a difference it made!! This will be my go-to from now on. It also has many other benefits as well such as asthma, arthritis, colitis, and overall inflammation in the body. There are also studies that show how Boswellia Extract fights cancer. I pray this is true because I need all the help I can get.
