I’ve got to brag on my girls for a minute! 🥹👏

They thought I was PLAYING when I said we were doing blindfolded 9-sections… but let me tell you. They KILLED IT! 🔥

Were every one of those sections perfectly pretty? Nope. But that wasn’t the point. Their muscle memory was THERE. Their hands knew what to do even when their eyes couldn’t help them, and THAT is what I wanted them to learn.

I promise you, when they get to State Board and the nerves kick in while they’re doing their perm sectioning, they’re going to remember this moment. They’re going to remember, “My instructor taught me how to work under pressure. I know how to do this.” 💪🏼

Sometimes teaching isn’t about making everything perfect—it’s about preparing them for the moment when the pressure is real and making things fun with a slight twist.

Things got a little wild at Ponca City Beauty College today! 😂💄 Our students put their makeup skills to the ultimate test by taking on the Blindfold Makeup Challenge… and let’s just say the results were priceless!

From perfectly placed blush (or so they hoped 😅) to some very creative eyeliner, there were plenty of laughs and unforgettable moments. Challenges like these are a fun way to build confidence, sharpen techniques, and remind us that learning should always include a little laughter. Muscle memory and using your hands at its finest!
