As I get closer to my second anniversary as a business owner, I’ve been taking some time to really reflect on this journey. 🤍
I have SO much to be thankful for. So much gratitude for the people, lessons, opportunities, and experiences that have brought me here.
Being a small business owner is tough some days, and incredibly rewarding on most others. It has challenged me in ways I never expected, but it has also introduced me to so many amazing women who have been kind, encouraging, supportive, and willing to lend a helping hand along the way. I’m so grateful for the women I have around me. Womanhood is truly something special. 🤍
To my husband — thank you for always keeping me grounded, believing in my dreams, supporting me through all of the highs and lows, and pushing me to keep going even when I doubt myself. I love you and appreciate you more than you know.
To my friends and family — thank you for always being in my corner. For the advice, encouragement, pep talks, support, and simply being there when I need you. I wouldn’t be where I am without you.
And one of the biggest lessons I’ve learned through business ownership is that not everyone is going to support you. Not everyone will understand your vision, and you won’t be everyone’s best friend — and that’s okay.
I’m learning not to let that take away from the people who DO show up, love me, encourage me, and believe in what I’m building.
I have so much faith in the path God has created for me, and I’m excited to see where He takes me next. 🙏🏼
