BNI Greater Royal Oak

Wedding anniversaries in the chapter this week!

Sara Kravitz and Gary, October 14. Gene DeHondt and Judy, October 17. And Amanda and me, October 18.

Congratulations to all three couples!

Another great morning with BNI Greater Royal Oak! Two feature presentations today.

Joey Robison with Great Lakes Landscape Design. Joey's team does more than make yards look good. They solve water problems with their hydrology systems: GEPS for water infiltration, NEPS for plant nutrient supply, plus traditional drainage like R-tanks and flow wells. Their core principles say it all: We Get S**t Done, Make it Right, and Continued Relationships. 70% of their business is return customers. If you know a Metro Detroit homeowner with outdoor drainage or landscaping problems, or a general contractor who needs a reliable partner, Joey's your guy.

Dominic Buschini with Payroll Vault. Dominic is the local payroll and HR partner for Michigan small businesses. They handle Michigan tax compliance, same-day direct deposit, and flexible pay schedules, plus HR support like employee handbooks, benefits admin, and compliance help as you grow. Real local people who know your name, not a call center, backed by 60+ offices nationwide. Serving small businesses since 2008. Celebrating anniversaries: Jim Wolfe, 19 years with BNI! And Matt Mitchell, 2 years. Congratulations to both.

Great week at BNI Greater Royal Oak! A few things worth celebrating:

Happy Birthday to Dwight Hawks (Oct 11)!

Happy Anniversary to Dr. Bryan Born and his wife Carol (Oct 10), and to Scott Isner and his wife Brenda (Oct 10)!

Mark your calendars: Fall Festival at Jim's house, Wednesday Oct 28th, 5 to 7 pm. Bonfire and autumn craft cocktails, plus early bird and door prizes.

And last week's presenter spotlight: Alex Wilkinson of JCS Tree Care Professionals in Troy.

Alex is an arborist, a Royal Oak guy for 5 years, husband to Ali, dad to Jude and Milo, and his goal is simple: build a business his family can be proud of while staying present.

If you need tree work done right, Alex is your guy.
