Hi Plush Babes, my name is Erika!
I was born and raised in Houston, Tx. My family and I moved out to the Dallas metroplex area a little over a year ago.
I got an amazing opportunity to join where I will be able to continue pursuing my dreams.
I am a Licensed Esthetician and have 6+ years experience in the esthetics field and 3 years in Corrective skincare & Treatments.
I began my trade working as a lash artist and wax specialist. Although I was amazing at both, I was never satisfied.
I wanted something meaningful for me. Something I was truly passionate about, not just completing a service.
It wasn’t until I started to experience my own personal concerns that I found my true passion into the skincare world. As soon as I started I fell in love with the craft… My personal craft.
After years of research, I found the brands that are RESULT driven. Wether your concern is acne, scarring, pigmentation or Anti-aging.
Allow me to be your go to Estie. I look forward to being part of your journey!

Look at these amazing before & after!!
This beautiful client had been seeing a doctor to treat her skin for dryness with no improvements.
When she first came to me her skin was flushed and extremely dry to the point that there was a rough texture to it.
We started doing treatments and sent her home with professional grade products, but after months of being on the recommended products it was not enough for her skin.
We switched products three different times until we found the ones that worked and that’s when we started seeing improvements within her skin.
Our goal was to rebalance the skin and once we accomplished that her skin no longer looked flushed.
Sometimes we may need to tweak your home care products to reach your ultimate goal, but consistency and patience is key!
Thank you for trusting me to be your esthetician!

Here are a few tips to help keep your skin barrier functioning at its best.
1. Cream cleansers tend to be more gentle and help keep skin more hydrated.
2. Moisturizing Toners can help hydrate, soothe, and calm the skin, reducing irritation and redness.
3. Hydrating Serum enhance your skins hydration, prevent it from drying out and improve its moisture retention.
4. Moisturizer will help with dryness and maintain your skin’s healthy cells as well as protect them from irritation.
5. Use Spf regularly (Everyday)
6. Let’s not forget to about our lips! Lip balm moisturizes your lips so they stay hydrated.
You don’t want to overdue it with products that strip your natural oils, keep it simple and you’ll start seeing a difference in your skin.
Finally, hydrate, hydrate, hydrate! Drink plenty of water.

Like this client there are so many people who have never been in for a facial.
These are the results of build up through out his entire life, to the point where his blackheads were visible to the naked eye.
We were able to remove 85% on his first visit. Some extractions can be painful depending on how many extractions you’ve had in the past and how severe the congestion has built up over the years.
He could not believe how much congestion he had until he saw the results.

If you have more than one of these symptoms chances are your Skin Barrier is more than likely damaged.
The skin barrier is the outer most part of your epidermis (skin!) and acts as a wall to protect your skin from damage, bacteria, environmental aggressors and more.
Your skin experiences trans epidermal water loss (TEWL) when your skin barrier is compromised. In other words, the moisture in your skin essentially exits stage left and evaporates. This leaves your skin with signs of dryness. These can include a rough texture, flakiness or tightness. Dullness is another sign of a compromised moisture barrier, related to dryness.
When you want to repair a damaged skin barrier, there are things you can start doing to see and feel relief.
Simplify your skincare routine. Invest in products and ingredients that help support the health of your skin barrier. Ingredients that are good to use for your skin’s moisture barrier include Hyaluronic Acid, Peptides and Ceramides.
Hyaluronic Acid is a molecule that occurs naturally in the skin and can hold up to 1,000 times its weight in water. It binds water to collagen to keep it in the skin.
Peptides are short chains of amino acids, which act as building blocks of proteins—like collagen, keratin and elastin.
Ceramides are lipids found naturally in the upper layers of skin and help form a protective layer that limits moisture loss.
Never forget the power of H20! Water works wonders on the skin barrier from the inside out. By drinking your recommended daily water intake you give skin a chance to reboot, replenish and regenerate.
Are you noticing a blemish coming to the surface?
Try rubbing ice on the inflamed breakout for 1-2 mins in circular motion.
This will help with the redness and inflammation.
You can do this step in the am and pm routine after cleansing.
When it comes to extractions we always find different techniques to minimize pain as much as possible.
We can use anything from our fingers to extractor tools and one of our favorite the Bt-micro ultrasonic. Some of you know it as the spatula.
Let me know in the comments which one is your favorite.
Ps: We finally made a TikTok account 🙌🏻🙌🏻 Although I have no idea how to work it yet, I’ll figure it out 😅😅
