POISON DART
Tribal Makeup Series
In the rainforest, the poison dart frog doesn’t need to hide. Its brilliant color is its warning—a tiny creature carrying a presence far greater than its size.
That became the story behind this look. Deep black covers one half of the face while bold golden yellow twists through it in fluid lines, spirals and irregular shapes inspired by the frog’s natural markings.
Across many cultures throughout history, face and body painting have been used as part of ceremonies, rituals, celebrations, identity and storytelling, with patterns and pigments carrying meanings unique to each community. I wanted to pull from that visual tradition without recreating the sacred markings of any one specific culture. Instead, I created my own tribal-inspired pattern, allowing the lines to move organically across the face—raw, imperfect and connected to nature.
The untouched half creates the divide between human and wild, while the painted side feels transformed by the natural world.
Small but powerful. Beautiful but dangerous. A warning written in color. 🖤💛

THE KEEPER OF THE BLUE FLAME💙🔥
Tribal Makeup Series
Inspired by the mystery of ancient ritual and sacred fire, every detail of this look was created around the Blue Flame.
Deep indigo and smoky blues sweep across the eyes like shadows around a flame, fading into icy blue along the cheeks. Metallic blue lips echo its color, while aged gold, feathers, delicate chains, and stones bring warmth, texture, and an ancient feel to the look.
At the center burns the Blue Flame—rare, intense, and unwavering. It burns brightest in the darkness, casting a deep blue glow that feels almost alive. Quiet. Mysterious. Unshaken. It represents intuition, inner strength, transformation, and a power that cannot easily be extinguished.
She is its keeper—chosen to guard the flame, carry its power, and keep it burning through even the darkest night. 💙🔥

THE WILD BORN HUNTRESS •🦴🪶
Tribal Makeup Series
She looks like she belongs deep in the wilderness—where the ground is covered in earth, the trees grow wild, and nothing is untouched by the elements.
This look was all about making beauty feel raw. Warm clay and terracotta tones stain the skin like dirt and sun-baked earth, while deep black and brown eyes are smoked heavily for a raw, soot-like intensity . Hand-painted ivory markings break through the earthy tones with bold lines, dots, and shapes inspired by ancient adornment. A deep brown lip and smaller markings through the center of the face pull everything together.
Then came the texture-cracked bone, rough rope, feathers, beads, and tangled braids. Everything feels gathered from the land, weathered by time, and worn as part of her.
I wanted her to feel like she had been living among the trees, walking barefoot through the dirt, completely connected to the wild around her.
Earthy. Weathered. Wild. Untamed.
She doesn’t simply live among the wilderness.
She was born from it. 🦴 🤎🌿

TRIBAL | Halloween Makeup Series 2026 🖤
Ancient inspiration. Raw beauty. Bold color. Intricate markings. Stories told through makeup.
I’ve always been drawn to this style of artistry—the symmetry, bold patterns, and the way color, lines and markings can completely transform a face. There’s something about the rawness and detail of it that has always inspired me creatively, so I knew eventually I wanted to build an entire series around it.
And next week, it finally begins.
This year’s Halloween series is TRIBAL—a creative collection influenced by ancient art, traditional patterns and markings, nature, texture, symbolism, and visual elements found throughout history and across different parts of the world. These looks aren’t meant to recreate or represent any one specific culture, but rather to take those artistic influences and transform them through my own creative lens.
Each look was individually sketched, planned and brought to life on a live model. No two are alike, and each one tells its own story.
I’ve spent weeks behind the scenes sketching, painting, photographing and pouring myself into these looks, and I’m SO ready to finally share them with you.
Every Tuesday + Thursday throughout October, a new TRIBAL look will be revealed.
9 looks. 9 stories. One series. 🖤
It all begins NEXT WEEK. 🎃
