Today we’re celebrating an incredible 21 years with Jen Guanzon at La Pomponnée! 💚

Jen is one of those behind-the-scenes superstars who keeps everything moving — from ordering all of our retail and back bar inventory, to helping organize continuing education, to making sure our day-to-day operations run smoothly.

Her dedication, organization, and commitment to our team have made such a huge impact over the years, and we’re so lucky to have her as part of the La Pomponnée family.

Where were you 25 years ago today?🇺🇸🖤

I was in a yoga class at La Pomponnée, led by Lesli Kotloski , when our receptionist quietly interrupted us to say that two planes had hit the World Trade Center.

I can still remember the people who were in that class and the team members working in the salon that morning. The confusion, the fear, and the feeling that the world had suddenly changed.

Today, we remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost, the families who were forever changed, the first responders who ran toward danger, and everyone who still carries the memories and loss of that day.

Our lives changed on September 11, 2001. Twenty-five years later, we still remember. We still honor. And we will never forget. 🇺🇸

After almost 20 years at the Waterdam Centre in McMurray- December 31, 2026, will be our final day open at that location.

We have made the difficult but important business decision to merge our teams at our flagship in Mt. Lebanon.

This was not in our original plan for 2027, but after almost 35 years in business, it is one we feel will help our company continue to thrive for many more.

I am thrilled that most of our talented McMurray team members, you know and love, will join us in Mt Lebanon to continue their careers. These service providers include:

All appointments after January 1, 2027, will be scheduled at the Mt. Lebanon location. And of course, Joslin aka Jojo, and Darlene will be there to greet you. We hope all our clients who visit Mcmurray will continue to visit- just 7 miles north on the same road!

This is certainly an emotional announcement for myself and our entire team, but it is also an exciting one. Our Mt. Lebanon salon will get a beautiful aesthetic update beginning in October, designed to make your visits feel even more special.

We are excited for this new chapter to begin our 35th year in business!
