Proof that even your hairstylist has one side that understood the assignment… and one side that showed up for attendance. 😂➰
Here’s your reminder that curly hair is not supposed to be perfectly uniform.
Curl patterns can change from one side of your head to the other—or even from one section to the next. Growth pattern, texture, density, previous damage, and yes, how you style it can all affect how much a curl wants to curl.
My right side? She’s giving beautiful little ringlets. 💁🏽♀️
My left side? She’s more of a “best I can do is a wave” kind of girl. 😂
And that’s NORMAL.
The goal with curly hair isn’t to force every curl to look identical. It’s learning what your texture needs, working with your natural pattern, and getting the right cut and products to help it do its thing.
Curly hair isn’t perfect. It has personality. And apparently, mine has multiple. 😂
