Happy 8 year anniversary to my baby, ILLUSION REAL 🤎
I remember when my mom shut the doors to her salon and I decided in that moment that I was going to open a salon of my own. It was a pivotal moment bc I knew my mom needed my help. I knew that it was my turn to step up, and since that moment I took ownership and knew I needed to open I/R once again. The journey has been FAR from easy & perfect, but a rewarding one in many ways.
A couple of my learning lessons:
1. Trust god always. No matter what. You’ll learn a lesson, you’ll get stronger, & come out the other side with a clearer vision.
2. People are in your life for a REASON, SEASON, or FOR LIFE.
And that is OK.
3. No matter what. I mean no matter what. Always have a positive outlook. Yes s**t hit the fan, but remember you are a leader. You will grow and learn from this.
4. DEVELOPING STYLISTS IS A GIFT. Never take that for granted. They trust you.
