I have exciting news to share….! 
 
After almost a year without one, I have finally found and hired a new co-stylist/assistant to join you and I in the salon during our hair appointments together. YAY!
 
Everyone please welcome Natalie to the salon fam! 
 
She is fresh out of Cosmetology school and very eager to get started behind the chair and I can’t wait for you to meet her. She will be taking clients starting in the new year- until then, let’s make her feel right at home in the salon assisting me, giving you the hair of your dreams!

Here are 3 fun facts to help get to know her:
 
-Another Phoenix Native (they’re rare I tell ya!), she loves spending her time outside golfing, running long distance and playing sports of all kinds.
 
-As the oldest of 3 sisters, quality time is very important to her. She became interested in the beauty industry because her mom (esthetician) and sister (nail technician) also have careers doing it too, and she hopes one day that they can all work together.
 
-Her favorite thing behind the chair, besides giving you the blonde hair you’ve always wanted, is helping women feel more confident and more beautiful than when they came in.

Let me share a little story with you-

I used to use those wall glade plug ins ALL THE TIME 🤢 yeah..

Once I figured out how bad they were for me to breathe in and have in my home, I had a dilemma: I wanted my house to smell good but I knew plugs were toxic and wasn’t using candles anymore (1. because kids and flames are 🙅🏼‍♀️🙅🏼‍♀️🙅🏼‍♀️ and 2-because those are toxic too 🤦‍♀️) and I had no idea where to start?! 2022 was a year of so much growth personally and professionally!

Here are some quick holiday hair hacks!

Great for this weekend and New Years too!

If you know me I am all about quick and efficiency in everything but especially when it comes to my hair and styling.

1. Use an accessory- I like headbands and bows or clips with a little glam.
2. Add a braid- instantly makes your style feel more elevated
3. Keep travel sizes on hand- in ur purse in ur diaper bag, in ur car- so ur ready to fluff up your hair in a pinch!
4. Root cover spray and texture spray are your bffs- for all my grey gals, I highly recommend keeping a root touch up spray handy for color refreshes!
5. Always have it curled- this one might seem silly but if it’s already curled, you can elevate with any of these hacks in no time at all. Your base is already done and boom you add a braid or a glitzy headband and your ready to go!

I can’t believe the day is here 😭😭😭

Today is the last day is assisting me in the salon and although I knew the day would come it doesn’t make it any easier!!

I know I can speak for all my clients when I say we will miss her soo much!!

I am eternally grateful for her working with me for over 2 years holy cow- she is so loyal.

Mikayla will still be working in the suite taking her own clients and building her clientele. She is an amazing stylist and an even better human 😍 love her so much
