Frizz is caused my multiple reasons—

Here are some of the top culprits:

✨The hair not being hydrated enough
✨Not using enough water when styling
✨Not using sections when applying product
✨Not letting the hair dry fully without touching it

Make sure you are using sections & working product through each one with the hair very wet to ensure all the hair has product & will dry the way the product sets vs the way your texture dries naturally.

Oils do not hydrate or add moisture.

Oils are sealants. So if your hair is dry & dehydrated it is going to seal in the dryness, not add moisture.

Oils are also not necessary to seal in moisture no matter your texture or level of coarseness. Water based products will seal in moisture without leaving buildup or creating as much frizz.

The best way to keep your hair hydrated is to stick to a consistent routine of washing, detangling & applying products such as cream, mousse, gel to improve the overall hydration of your hair.

✨ They will tell everyone about you. This is an uncommon practice in the hair salon in general, not just with curly people. You are providing a point of impact & really highlighting what sets you apart.
