Today was the start of out CLIENTS APPRECIATION MONTH another wonderful day Mrs.Lorraine @ islandDesignSalon as we celebrate 25years in Business!! Special thanks TO our faithful and loyal clients who keeps us on our toes with trending styles and real conversation ,love N support! We appreciate you! There no loyalty in business Mrs.Lorraine @ islandDesignSalon how I lost a stylist n client in the same day!!
Lesson learned
1.women don’t forgive easily! No matter how many time u help someone, one time u mess up ppl will never forgive they only remember what u didn’t do for them!

2. Yes I should have given her a discount from the door! But for her to call the stylist behind my back was weird!! ppl think it’s all about money but it’s not!!
I still had to call a second stylist n the first stylist was mad!!! Plus if we are truly friend she could have call me on it!!

But that how I lost a client/ friend and a stylist / friend
WHEN PPL SHOW U WHO THEY R BELIEVE THEM ✌🏾

Things I will not do as a Stylist
Mrs.Lorraine @ islandDesignSalon will not come in early for clients. My Salon open at 10 and I will be there at 10

#2 I will not negotiate prices with clients if you are retired or on a fixed income please budget! don’t book with me. My price is not negotiable.
#3 if you’re here is Madden or not been maintained in a while. The price is going up. I will no longer feel sorry for people that wait two and three months to get their hair done and then thinking the price is the same as a regular maintenance
#4 if you book appointment with one of my Stylist just to get in my chair it won’t be happening. My books are booked out 2 to 3 months in advance and if you cannot get on the books, don’t sneak on the books that’s not cool.

#5. if you’ve been a client of mine for years and still refused to book an advance I’m not squeezing you in! squeezing disrupt my day and makes you very entitled this behavior has to stop thank you.

I am Miss Lorraine as 25-year in the business as a stylist respect my time!
6. if you come late for my appointment and my other client comes in you’re gonna have to wait being on time is very important to me because time I cannot get back
7. if you book an appointment with me and don’t show up. It’ll be the last appointment! Every one has a story! N I’m tried!
