Hot Looks began in 1990 and has since become an icon in Mayfair Philadelphia and is known as one of the best salons in the Greater Northeast.
The owner, Carol Colantuono, is a 30 year veteran of the field. She graduated from Gordon Philips in 1979, and soon after became an apprentice at one of the top hair salons in Center City Philadelphia, Barry Lenard Crimper Hair Salon. Carol is an award winner from the Vidal Sasson Insitute for advanced hair cutting and holds an award in coloring from Matrix Insitute New York. Carol considers herself an artist who specializes in razor cuts and highlights "being able to make someone feel good about themself is my goal in life, after family that is". She is a mother of two and born and raised in Northeast Philadelphia.
