Dance of the 7 Chakras: A Journey Through Energy, Movement & Sound w/ Michael ✨

🗓️ September 25th

Step into a transformative evening where movement becomes meditation and music awakens your inner landscape. Dance of the 7 Chakras is a guided, immersive experience designed to help you connect deeply with your body, breath, and energy centers.

We begin in a gentle opening circle, setting intention and creating a shared space of presence and connection. From there, you’ll be guided through each of the seven chakras—root to crown—using a blend of intuitive dance, evocative music, and light spoken guidance to awaken and balance each energy center.

Expect grounding rhythms for the root, fluid and sensual movement for the sacral, empowering beats for the solar plexus, heart-opening melodies, expressive throat activation, and expansive, meditative soundscapes as we rise to the third eye and crown. 💫 No dance experience is needed—just a willingness to move, feel, and explore.

As the journey integrates, we’ll transition into a deeply restorative savasana accompanied by a soothing sound bath, allowing the body and nervous system to fully absorb the experience.

We close in circle, sharing presence and grounding together, followed by fresh fruit to nourish and reconnect. 🤗

Come as you are. Leave aligned, energized, and deeply restored.

Friday, September 25th
6:30-9:30pm (doors close at 6:40pm)

You don't have to be an advanced yogi 💭

There’s a common misconception that you need to be able to do complicated poses—or have years of experience—before you’re ready for yoga teacher training.

But yoga teacher training isn’t a reward for becoming “good enough” at yoga. 📣

You don’t need to have mastered every pose. You don’t need a perfect practice. And you definitely don’t need to be the most flexible person in the room.

What you do need is curiosity. 💫

Curiosity about your own body. Curiosity about how movement works. Curiosity about the history and philosophy of yoga. And a willingness to keep learning.

At Maha, our Immersion and Teacher Training programs are for people who want to go deeper—not just into the physical practice, but into a better understanding of how to move, how to teach, and how to develop a practice that can evolve over a lifetime.

So if you’ve been thinking, “I’m not ready yet,” maybe it's time to ask yourself a different question:

Am I curious enough to begin? ✨

Advanced yoga isn't what you think 📣

➡️ When I first started teaching over 20 years ago, I believed "advanced" yoga looked like deeper backbends, bigger arm balances, and more flexibility.

Now I see it differently. 💭

The students with the most sustainable practices aren't necessarily the stretchiest. They're the ones who have built strength, resilience, body awareness, and control.

That's why we designed Maha's 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training differently. 🎉

Yes, you'll learn traditional yoga philosophy, teaching methodology, and sequencing. But you'll also study anatomy, functional movement, mobility training, and strength development so you understand why movement works—not just what a pose is supposed to look like.

Because flexibility without strength isn't enough.

Your body needs the ability to actively control the ranges of motion you have. It needs stability to support flexibility. ✨ It needs strength to create resilience.

Whether you plan to teach yoga or simply want to become a more informed practitioner, this training will change the way you think about movement.

You'll leave with more than a certification.⭐️

You'll gain a deeper understanding of your body, a more sustainable practice, and the confidence to move well for years to come.

If you're looking for a teacher training that values intelligent movement over impressive poses, we'd love to have you join us this fall.
