For five years, so many of you have shopped with me, stopped by my booths, smelled your way through so many perfumes, and watched Merle’s Garden grow.

Somehow, in all that time, I’ve never really stopped to introduce myself.

So… hi. I’m Dajha. 🌸

I’m the woman behind Merle’s Garden, and the funny thing is, this story started long before there was a Garden.

There were other businesses, other ideas, a corporate career, plenty of pivots, and a whole lot of figuring things out along the way.

Then I became a mom, and what I wanted my life to look like changed.

So I bet on myself.

And somehow, that little bet grew into this. 🥹

A business named after my grandmother.
A life that gives me more time with my family.
A brand that has introduced me to so many of you.

Five years ago, I started this little Garden inspired by my grandmother, Merle Betty ...her Jamaican roots, her love of nature, and the kind of beauty that can be found in simply taking care of yourself and the things around you.

What started as a way to honor her has grown into something bigger than I could have imagined. And so much of that is because of YOU.

Every order. Every market visit. Every recommendation. Every repeat customer. Every person who stopped by just to say, “I remember you from…” 💕 I don’t take any of it for granted.
