We've all heard it... "go get some sun for your vitamin D." ☀️😎

Turns out your body's a lot smarter (and stricter) about this than most people realize.

📌 Save this before your next beach day.

What's another health "fact" you thought was true until recently? Tell us about it in the comments!

Cryosculpting targets fat cells, but here's the part that determines your actual results: your lymphatic system has to clear those cells out afterward.

And your lymphatic system doesn't run on its own, it depends on proper hydration to function well. Under-hydrated, and that clearing process slows down, which can mean slower or less visible results from a treatment you already invested in.

If you're going through body contouring treatments this summer, hydration support isn't a "nice to have"... it's part of making sure the process actually works the way it's supposed to. 🩵

Sunburn gets treated like a skin problem. Aloe vera, cool showers, done.

But sunburn is your body in active repair mode, and repair takes resources. Fluid gets pulled toward damaged skin to help it heal, which means your body's internal hydration takes a hit too.

Plain water helps, but it's not the full picture. Electrolytes are what allow your body to actually retain and use that fluid... not just pass it through.

Ever notice you're more exhausted after a summer day than a full day of work?

It's not in your head. Your body spends energy constantly regulating its internal temperature, even when you're just sitting outside or walking to your car. In summer heat, that job gets a lot harder, so more of your energy goes toward just staying cool, leaving less for everything else.

That's why a "lazy" summer day can leave you just as drained as a busy one.

The treatment is just step one.

What you do in the 24-48 hours after, sun exposure, skincare products, workouts, even how you sleep, plays a real role in how your results actually settle in.

It's not about being overly careful. It's just understanding that aftercare isn't a suggestion, it's part of the process. 😉

So whatever you had done recently, ask yourself: did you follow through on the after part, or just the appointment part? 🤔

✅ Aftercare needs vary by treatment type... always follow your provider's specific instructions.

"Frozen face" gets blamed on Botox, but it's almost always a dosing or technique issue, not the treatment itself.

The right approach is about softened movement, not zero movement. And that starts with a consultation that maps your face, not a generic formula.

Be honest... if you had to pause and think about it, that's already a signal.

Mild dehydration shows up before thirst does: low energy, brain fog, that afternoon slump you blame on lack of sleep.

Your body doesn't always ask nicely. Sometimes it just makes you tired and calls it a day.

In reality, antioxidants don't work in isolation, they rely on each other to stay active.

Vitamin C plays a specific role here: it helps regenerate glutathione after it's been used up, so it can keep doing its job instead of breaking down.

This is part of why the two are commonly paired in recovery-focused treatments, not as an upsell, but because the body's antioxidant system is designed to work this way.

Results may vary. Consultation recommended.

Your face is warm, flushed, a little irritated, and you're not sure if it's rosacea acting up or just the weather. ☀️

Here's the thing: it can be both. Heat doesn't just look like a flare-up. For rosacea-prone skin, it can actually trigger one. Blood vessels react faster to temperature changes, and once they're activated, everything from sun exposure to a hot iced latte can keep the cycle going.

So if summer feels like your skin is more reactive than usual, it's not in your head. Heat is one of the most common flare triggers there is, you're just noticing it more because it's everywhere right now.

✅ Rosacea triggers vary from person to person — a consultation can help you map out yours.

Most people expect one session to fix everything, but hydration builds cumulatively, with real results showing up by session three, not session one.

Think of it like skincare actives: consistent use is what delivers the result. Consultation recommended to build the right plan for you.
