I actually love seeing my clients at the three to four month mark.
This is where you find out if the work was done well.
You should still see softness at the root, brightness around the face, and those bold pops of dimension. I never try to erase all of your natural hair because that’s what keeps the grow-out looking effortless. The tone should still complement your complexion, and the haircut should still fall into place without needing a round brush every morning.
That’s what I’m thinking about every time someone sits in my chair. Not just the after photo. Not just how it looks walking out the door. I’m designing hair that still feels intentional after vacations, busy schedules, postponed appointments, and real life.
To me, luxury is hair that keeps working for you long after you’ve left the salon.
Services: Color Combination, Olaplex Treatment, and Long Haircut/Style. 3.5 hours. $505.

Congratulations are in order for the incredibly talented 🍾👏💘
We are excited to announce that this month she was promoted to Senior Stylist! Macy has been a constant inspiration and bright presence in the salon since 2023 and she is SO deserving of this.
Macy has truly carved out a name for herself behind the chair with her incredible lived-in blondes, effortless dimensional color, and some of the best curly cuts around. Her ability to make clients feel confident, understood and beautiful is something that cannot be taught! She brings such a calming, thoughtful energy to each appointment and continues to grow as both an artist and a person every single day.
It’s been a huge year for Macy personally as well. She’s recently engaged (!!!), has a newfound love for hot pilates, and moved into Northern Liberties!
We are so proud of you Macy and can’t wait to see what this next step in your career holds for you. 🤍
XO,
Bobby and Mackenzi

Summer hair should actually make your life easier.
I think a lot of people confuse summer hair with lighter hair. They’re not always the same thing.
This color is brighter where it counts, deeper where it should be, and soft enough to still look good months from now. A rooted blonde means you’re not staring at a harsh line of regrowth in four weeks, and the neutral tone keeps everything looking expensive without swinging too warm or trying too hard to be icy.
The haircut does the rest.
Soft shag-inspired layering creates movement, encourages natural texture, and removes weight without sacrificing fullness. It keeps the hair from feeling heavy when it’s 90 degrees with 100% humidity and everyone is questioning their life choices.
The goal is to create summer hair that looks fun and can be styled easily at home, after a beach day, a sweaty commute, and a round of dry shampoo.
Pretty hair that survives real life is best.

Every product and tool in this carousel is something I either use personally, recommend daily behind the chair, or wish more clients would start using before summer gets ahold of their hair.
The reality is that sun, salt water, chlorine, humidity, and hot tools don’t care how much you spent on your color appointment. ☀️
A little prevention now is a lot easier than damage control in September.
I’ve bundled some of my favorite products and tools together at pricing that’s better than what you’ll find at Sephora, Ulta, or other salon retailers so that you can spend more money on spritz’s all summer. 😏
Orders close June 19 and everything will be ordered specifically for those who reserve!
Once the order is placed, the promotion is over.
DM me the bundle you’d like to claim.

As a colorist, I’m less interested in the splash-in-the-pan trends and more interested in making sure every part of my service has a purpose.
For my girl Francie, there were three goals:
1. Richen the base. Cover the grays. Add a touch of soft copper. Make her skin look healthy, her eyes bright, and give her a color that still looks expensive 8+ weeks from now instead of washing out after two shampoos.
2. Create movement, not just layers. I wanted versatility. Curtain bangs when she wants a blowout. Flip it to the side when she wants volume. Soft waves when she wants texture. The haircut should work with her, not require a 45-minute negotiation every morning, especially with two little ones at home.
3. Add strategic balayage. Not because everyone needs to be blonder. Because a few well-placed lighter pieces create visual volume, softness, and dimension exactly where it matters. Plus, summer is coming and nobody has ever complained about looking a little sun-kissed.
A lot of people see color and think “lighter” or “darker.” I’m usually thinking:
How do we make the eyes stand out?
How do we make the skin glow?
How do we make the hair look fuller?
How do we make this still look good two months from now?
That’s the difference between changing a color and creating a hair color strategy.
Who’s next? My book always welcomes new clients so shoot me a DM!

Listen up! Natural texture in the summer just makes sense honestly.
My goal with wavey or curly hair isn’t fighting the pattern into submission every morning, especially with the humid months ahead. Together, we should be working with it.
Soft dimensional placement helps the movement pop without looking stripey. Strategic layering removes weight without making the ends look thin or frizzy. And keeping a little more density through the perimeter makes everything feel healthier while giving the hair a little extra weight to help control expansion in humidity.
Also… tone matters way more than people realize. Rich glossy brunettes with intentional warmth reflect light better than severe ash tones and make natural texture look shinier, softer, and way more luxurious overall.
Because if your hair only looks good inside the salon, we missed the assignment. Good hair in every season is the assignment.

Let’s normalize talking about perimenopause. Because it seems that nobody prepares women that perimenopause can make your hair act like it’s going through a midlife crisis well before you actually go through one yourself. This can start as early as your mid thirties.
Suddenly:
• Texture changes
• Volume disappears
• Gray hairs multiply overnight
• Your 15-year routine stops working out of nowhere
The good news is your hair isn’t “bad.” We just need a different strategy now.
Usually:
Less over-bleaching.
More scalp care.
More moisture.
Smarter color placement.
As your stylist, it’s my job to notice these changes and explain how we can pivot services, styles, and treatments to keep your hair healthy and looking its best.
