Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.” — Proverbs 22:6 ❤️
Start teaching your children about God. Pray with them. Read the Bible with them. Answer their questions and, when you don’t know, find the answer together.
They may not seem like they’re listening, but they are. 🌱
Plant the seed. Point them to Jesus. 🙏🏽✝️
Be encouraged, parents. ❤️

Story time 👀
A while back, I ran into a woman and a few people I knew. We were making small talk when, OUT OF NOWHERE, she said:
“That’s why I never liked you!”
😳😳😳
Y’all… THE ROOM GOT QUIET.
I said, “Excuse me?”
She immediately followed it with:
“Aww girl, I’m just joking with you!”
Girl… 🤨 The words may have been a joke, but the look on her face said otherwise.
My Grandma always used to say:
“Be careful with people who say they’re just kidding after they disrespect you. There’s usually some truth behind that joke.”
WHEW! That stuck with me.
Because sometimes people will joke about exactly how they feel and then hide behind, “I’m just joking.” 🙃
Have you ever had somebody say something shady and then hit you with “I’m just joking”?
