Hi everyone! I just wanted to give an update!

My bridal books are currently closed.

I opened them back in June of this year and booked through June 2027. All of those dates are full, and I am so grateful and excited for those weddings! (So if you see me posting brides, they are those who have previously booked!)

I have not yet decided if I will book the second half of 2027 just yet, but if I do, those dates will open in January. I will definitely post many updates prior to doing so!

I completely understand the urgency in booking an artist for your wedding, and I know that due to not booking far out, I may not be everyone’s fit anymore. I still get tons of wedding inquiries everyday, and I am just so honored that even after all these years you still think of me when you think bridal! 🤍 I truly wish I could be a part of all of your days! In this season of life, though, I’m not in my “hustle” era that I was in my 20s, and I am only taking things a few months at a time.

Right now, I’m focusing on one on one in-studio appointments, and I’ve been loving that!

Thank you guys for being so understanding and supportive as life has changed and my makeup business has evolved over the years!

Go-to bridesmaid glam ✨

To my fellow MUAS: I am not a fast artist, but one tip I’ve learned over the years working weddings is to have a “signature” look in your back pocket. Something that’s neutral, photographs well, looks good on pretty much everyone, etc. That way you get in a flow while working because you are reaching for many of the same products over and over. I like to have a few lip combos in mind that I know always work! I, of course, make little adjustments based on my client’s eye shape, skin tone and type, etc., but it makes things so much more time efficient when you have a lot of bridal party members! 9 times out of 10 my bridal parties request neutral or natural glam!

I’m curious to know how long you typically give yourself for each bridal party member and for the bride?

My favorite thing is when clients tell me a few of their likes/dislikes and then just pretty much say “do your thing” and give me creative freedom. Love how this look turned out for branding photos!!

Laura’s senior pageant and probably my favorite glam we have ever done! She had a black dress, so we took her eyes a little darker for some drama 😍 She is a literal Barbie!

Loved glamming Madison for these!! Bridget Lee Photography does an amazing job every time!

I love a matte eye look so much! I feel like there’s always an assumption that shimmer makes the eyes pop (and it can), but don’t underestimate a matte eye! It always photographs SO well too!

Okay, I have to share this one because it’s so good!

essence Silky Blur concealer has been my most reached for concealer when doing my own makeup for a couple months now! I think it could work for any skin type, but it would be excellent for mature or dry skin! It’s only a few dollars at Ulta!
