We did block coloring with Danger Jones Balayage and added 4 packs of Drop Dead Professional Hair Extensions to completely change her whole look.

OK, now that we got that out of the way here’s another Danger Jones Balayage transformation 

Imposter syndrome is weird.

You can work your ass off for years, build a business, build a clientele, create work you’re proud of, get invited into rooms you once dreamed about… and somehow your brain will still find a way to whisper, “Do I actually belong here?”

I don’t have perfectly edited photo after perfectly edited photo on my feed. Not every client comes in with their makeup done to the nines and ready for a photoshoot. Half the time I’m just trying to remember to take the damn after picture. 😂

But my clients love their hair. They trust me. They come back. I’ve built a career doing hair that feels like me, and I think sometimes I forget that THAT is enough.

Walking into this room, surrounded by insanely talented artists, I caught myself thinking, I’m probably the most inexperienced person here.

And then I had to check myself.

Girl. You were invited into the room too.

Nobody accidentally put my name on that list. Nobody accidentally flew me to LA. I didn’t sneak through the back door. I earned my seat the same way everyone else did, by showing up, working, learning, creating, and being myself.

Maybe I’m not the most polished person in the room. Maybe I still have a million things to learn.

Good.

Because I never want to stop learning.

But I’m done confusing having room to grow with not being good enough to be there.

I was invited into the room for a reason. So were you. Take up the damn space
