A client arrived with visibly sensitized, reactive skin, and here is what I didn’t do:
I didn’t over-exfoliate.
I didn’t use aggressive treatments.
I didn’t add unnecessary steps just to make the facial feel more intensive.
Sensitive skin needs a gentle, thoughtful approach. The goal of the first session isn’t always immediate perfection. It’s about calming the skin, supporting its barrier, and giving it exactly what it needs in that moment.
