Couldn’t have said it better !

I woke up with a little bit of a heavy heart this morning.

I’ve been thinking a lot about clients I’ve had to say goodbye to this year.

I don’t think people always realize how personal this job becomes. Someone can sit in your chair for years, and in that time you learn their stories. You know what they’re excited about, what they’re worried about, who they love, what they’ve been through. You celebrate things with them. You sit with them through hard seasons. Sometimes you know things about their lives that very few other people do.

And then one day, that appointment just isn’t there anymore.

There’s something really strange about looking at your books and knowing someone who was once such a normal part of your routine won’t be coming back.

It’s a reminder that this job has never really been just about hair. I get to know people in such a unique way, and I’m incredibly grateful for every person who has trusted me with a little piece of their life while they were sitting in my chair.

So cherish the appointments. The conversations, the laughs, the life updates, even the ordinary ones that feel like just another day. You really never know what life may bring, and sometimes the people sitting in your chair become a much bigger part of your life than you ever expected.
