A little note from me to my clients 🤍

Imagine showing up to work and being told you won’t be getting paid for the day. You made time in your schedule, expected to work, and now you’re going home without a paycheck.

That’s what last-minute cancellations and no-shows can feel like for a small business owner.

I don’t think people always realize that this isn’t just something I do on the side. This is my business, my job, and part of my livelihood. When appointments are canceled last minute or clients don’t show up, I don’t get paid. It affects me financially, my time, and opportunities I could’ve given someone else.

Anyone who knows me knows I try my absolute best to be understanding and accommodating. I know life happens! Kids get sick, cars break down, emergencies happen, and sometimes things are completely out of our control. I GET IT! And I never want to lose that compassion or grace with my clients.

But somewhere along the way, I’ve become so understanding that I haven’t been consistent with enforcing the policies I have in place to protect my business. And that’s something I have to take accountability for.

Moving forward, deposits will be increasing, and ALL booking, cancellation, rescheduling, and no-show policies will be enforced, including for my regular clients. Updated policies will be shared soon!

Especially heading into our busiest months, I have to be intentional about protecting my time and business.

Please understand that none of this is personal. I’m not upset with anyone or trying to be difficult. I’m just a girl who has worked hard to build something of her own and is learning to protect what she’s built.

To everyone who has booked, supported, recommended, shared my work, or encouraged me, THANK YOU! I appreciate you more than you know. I love what I do, and I’m so grateful I get to do it.

I’ll always strive to provide the same love, care, and quality service. I just have to take care of my business too.
