We’ve been through some things and by things I mean war. 🫡 We’ve been at war. My client had been using box black for way too many years to count. We had a thorough consultation and performed a test strand in order for her to fully understand exactly what she was getting into. Our first session consisted of a gentle color removal and full lightening. Unfortunately there were some pieces that were damaged which is a risk anytime you try to lift box color. My client was aware this could be a possibility and I decided as her stylist we would not be lifting her for a second session. It’s been about a year and she has been doing strict reparative work at home and we tried again. We were able to get a little more lift to help cool down the copper shade she absolutely hated. If there’s one things I wish clients would understand it’s that when you put chemicals in your hair, There is always a risk of a reaction when it comes to blonding. This is why it’s so important to know what you’re actually using and find a stylist you trust 🧡

I genuinely do not know what happened with the lighting in our after video and I’m so friggen sad because this hair is EVERYTHING. The blonde-the powder blue- the dark like whattttttt. It’s giving 90s frosted makeup 😍

It was FINALLY time for me to do Zoë’s hair after she’s spent the last year doing repairative work after it was heavily damaged by a previous color. She wanted to keep most of her natural and add in the color block. I love me some color blocking because it really is the easiest way to keep things low maintenance but still create a high impact. You don’t have to color your entire head to still have fun hair. I have limited availability this month but am accepting new clients and so is she! 🎉

Sometimes it’s just a matter of adjusting your formula color, Going slightly shorter with a face frame or adding in a few foils for a pop.
