honestly don't even know how to put this into words. 💔😭😭
For the past 7 years, you sat in my chair. I did your hair, your lashes, your brows even your kids hair but you were never just a client to me.
Somewhere along the way, you became my friend.
Our appointments became so much more than hair appointments. They were conversations, laughs, stories, catching up on life, and sharing pieces of ourselves with each other. I looked forward to seeing you, and I will always cherish the time we had.
I still can't believe you're gone. Only 47. It just doesn't seem fair, and honestly, it doesn't feel real.
I think sometimes people don't realize how attached hairstylists and beauty professionals become to the people sitting in our chairs. You aren't just doing someone's hair and sending them on their way. You become a small part of their life, and they become a part of yours.
I have always cared deeply about my clients. I celebrate with you, worry with you, laugh with you, and sometimes cry with you. I get to watch your lives change and grow over the years.
And when something like this happens, I realize just how much my clients truly mean to me… because when I lose a client, I feel like I'm losing a friend.
And that's exactly what this feels like.
I will miss seeing you walk through my door. I'll miss our conversations, our laughs, and all the little moments that I probably didn't realize at the time would someday mean so much.
Thank you for trusting me and for allowing me to be a small part of your life for those 7 years.
You were so much more than a client. You were my friend. ❤️
You will be missed more than you know, and you will always have a special place in my heart.
Rest peacefully, beautiful. 🕊️🤍 love you Dawn Estrella
