🍂 It’s starting to feel like fall outside! We’re enjoying the cooler air and changing leaves. Even as the weather changes, remember your SPF when you head outdoors ☀️

☀️🔥 DERM TIPS FOR EXTREME HEAT 🔥☀️

With extreme heat in our area, don’t forget about your skin!

🧴 SPF 30+ — Apply before heading outside and reapply every 2 hours or after heavy sweating.

👕 Keep it light & loose — Breathable clothing can help reduce sweating, irritation and heat rash.

💦 Don’t let sweat sit — Gently blot sweat instead of rubbing or wiping, which can irritate your skin.

🚿 Cool off your skin — Cool showers, fans and air conditioning can help prevent heat rash.

🧢 Add some shade — Hats, lightweight protective clothing and shade give your sunscreen some backup.

And remember: sunscreen labeled “water resistant” still needs to be reapplied after heavy sweating!
