Tonight we said “Goodbye” to my best sidekick ever.. The Original.. Manly Daniels.

He would have been 12 years old in October. That’s such a long life for an English Bulldog. And I think the main reason he made it so long is because he was able to come to the barbershop and see his friends so often.

I know he was loved by many and I’ve joked that he was the most photographed dog in Paducah! (5 years on Broadway and loving the door open will do that for you).

Thanks so much for loving him and giving all the pets and belly scratches!

We fell behind in our Mother’s Day posts! One last post a day late!

We’re wrapping up our Mother’s Day series by celebrating someone incredibly special — Teresa. ❤️

Teresa is the kind of woman whose kindness fills a room, but she’s also honest in the best way possible. She’ll tell you the truth, help however she can, and love you through whatever life throws your way.

She’s been a mother figure not only to her own children, but also to nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her love reaches far beyond just her immediate family, and so many people have been blessed by her care, guidance, and steady presence over the years.

Teresa loves the Lord deeply and has faithfully served and been part of her church community for most of her life. Her faith, compassion, and servant’s heart are evident in the way she treats people every single day.

And if you know her, you know her smile can light up an entire room. She’s warm, welcoming, and truly one of a kind.

We’re honored to celebrate Teresa and all the love she’s poured into the people around her throughout her life. 💈

This week in our Mother’s Day series, we’re celebrating Holly — a woman who leads with passion, puts others before herself, and somehow always knows how to make life more fun. ❤️

Holly is the kind of person who shows up for everyone around her. No matter what’s going on, she’s always willing to put other people’s needs ahead of her own, and that says a lot about the heart she has.

She’s passionate, strong, and always ready for a beach trip at a moment’s notice. And if there’s a chance to eat at Flamingo Row… she’s probably already on the way. 😂

If you know Holly, you also know that Game of Thrones is basically a personality trait at this point. And while Whitney Houston’s throne is probably still safe… Holly can absolutely sing. 🎤

She brings energy, care, laughter, and love into the lives of the people around her, and we’re honored to celebrate her this week.

This week in our Mother’s Day series, we’re celebrating Rebecca — a strong, caring, and deeply loving mom who gives so much of herself to the people around her. ❤️

Rebecca loves her family fiercely, and anyone who knows her can see just how much heart she pours into the people she loves. She’s selfless in the way she cares for others and always willing to put family first.

She can cook and bake like an absolute boss, and we’re pretty sure nobody leaves her house hungry. 😂

When she’s not taking care of everyone else, she loves getting away to the Smoky Mountains, collecting dolphins, and spending time with the people she loves most.

And even though she’s allergic to cats and dogs… that definitely hasn’t stopped her from loving her grand pup, Ruby. 🐶❤️

Rebecca is the kind of mom who makes people feel safe, loved, and cared for, and we’re honored to celebrate her this week.

This week in our Mother’s Day series, we’re celebrating someone who has probably made just about everyone around her feel like family at some point… Cindy. ❤️

Cindy is the definition of “a mom to all.” She has a way of loving people deeply, listening well, and making everyone feel seen and cared for. Whether she’s offering wisdom, encouragement, or just a warm conversation, she leaves people better than she found them.

She’s an incredible baker and cook, creative to her core, and the kind of person who could probably turn anything into something beautiful. If you know her, you also know she has a soft spot for sea turtles, pink flamingos, and making people smile.

She’s the epitome of a Sunday school teacher—kind, patient, thoughtful, and full of grace.

And if her blood sugar gets low… somebody better get that woman a cracker before the wild eyes come out. 😂

Simply put: Cindy is simply the best.

This week, we’re kicking off our Mother’s Day series by honoring someone who holds a very special office at Manly Daniel’s… Josh’s wife, Jenny.

Jenny is the kind of mom who gives her whole heart to her family. She loves God, loves her people deeply, and somehow manages to pour into everyone around her—even with a schedule that never seems to slow down.

She’s a counselor, practice owner, an adjunct professor, and someone who carries a lot on her plate… but no matter how busy life gets, she always makes the choice to be present for her family. That’s not easy, and it doesn’t go unnoticed.

The sacrifices she makes, the love she gives, and the strength she shows every day are just a few of the reasons we admire her so much.

Jenny, we see you. We appreciate you. And we’re grateful for the incredible mom you are. ❤️
