Today, August 12th, 2026, marks a very special day for me, the day I officially became a Licensed Cosmetologist!

Formally known as Klawz By Bray, I’m so excited to reintroduce myself and my business as:

TRU TO BEAUTY
Bringing out your most confident self through beauty, care, and precision.

I’ve always had a genuine love for beauty and for creating a space where others can feel comfortable, confident, and beautiful. I created my business 5 years ago, but honestly, it feels like I’m just now getting started.

For a while, the lack of time and consistency in my life made it difficult for me to fully pour into my business and flourish the way I knew I could. But toward the end of 2024, I made a promise to myself. This is what I truly want to do, and I’m going to make it happen. From that moment on, I got straight to work.

The beginning of this new chapter has been nothing short of amazing. I started networking, building my clientele, and showing up for myself and my business day by day. Going from 8 clients a month in 2025 to 8+ clients a week in 2026 showed me that I was exactly where I was meant to be.

For the first time, I truly felt like my dreams were becoming my reality.

I want to take a moment to thank every amazing person who has supported me, encouraged me, believed in me, and watched me grow throughout this journey.

A special thank you to Beverly’s Beauty Institute and their amazing instructors for helping me become a licensed professional. I completed 34 chapters and 1,500 hours in 11½ months and immediately took the necessary steps toward becoming licensed.

I am beyond grateful for every client, every lesson, every opportunity, every person I’ve met along the way, and even those who continue to watch and support me from afar.

This journey has taught me that sometimes the beginning you imagined isn’t the beginning you receive, but when the time is right, everything falls into place.

Today marks a new chapter, and this is only the beginning.
