If someone I’m mentoring gets busier than me, makes more money than me, or becomes better at something than I am?

Good. That means I’m doing my job.

I don’t want stylists who stay because they need me. I want stylists who stay because they believe in what we’re building.

So I’ll keep investing in their education, sharing what I know, and creating room for them to become really damn good at what they do.

Because I’m not building a salon where everyone competes for the same piece of the pie.
