Good Morning Beautiful Buns - I am practically VIBRATING with anticipation for the arrival of my first Myrtle Beach fragrance oils. 2 Pounds of "Dune Not Disturb" is on the way and I am forever thankful my wax doesn't have a super long cure time because I am down to the WIRE.
I am taking my time to specialty craft each unique scent and the first one has set the bar IN SPACE - because I dont know how I will top it 😅
This isn't your average "coconut" scent. While you do get hints of coconut it is not overpowering and is a delicate, relaxing spa type scent.
Dune Not Disturb opens with notes of Coconut, Sea Salt and Bergamot; transitions into a relaxing blend of Santal, and Peony and finishes with the Oceanic notes of sea breeze.

When I first made this I was blown away with how RELAXED I felt when smelling it. Almost like I could feel the warm sand and sea breeze as waves crashed nearby.

This is one of those fragrances that is great all year round but I find a "cozy, winter beach" scent so hard to find and that's really what this is.

I am picturing curling up with some hot cocoa and listening to the waves hit the shore, maybe a Christmas movie playing softly in the background.

This would also be a phenomenal scent to use in a massage studio.

Like I said I am taking time to craft unique scents for Myrtle Beach.
I am NOT going to have these scents available to purchase online or in person anywhere other than Myrtle Beach 🩵
Naming Credit goes to my husband Zachary, I was going to call it something fancy sounding but his idea was unanimously decided as better by the 2 brain cells that run this show 🤣 Heather and I took a vote.

It's my favorite time of year; the weather is beautiful and hopefully the wasps will leave me alone.

"What are you doin in ma swamp??" Is what I get from this picture. And this is why I loathe photography because this is NOT a true to color photo of the Fraser fir bath salts 😭 I was trying to get a picture of the beautiful teal color and I get.... This.

Sometimes I side eye the IFRA standards. Because what do you mean I can use up to 25% by weight of this fragrance for bath salts? I'm at roughly 3% and it might be too much 🫪 we will see if it calms down or if I need to double the rest of the dry ingredients.
My goodness.

We are in the last few outdoor markets of the year and Its bittersweet. I am looking forward to giving my body a break after doing 2 markets every week this summer - but I really do enjoy it and it's going to feel weird not having events all the time.
In NO WAY am I slowing down business or scaling back; I am focusing on my in store (booths) & online shopping, as well as wholesaling through Faire ✨
Ridiculously grateful to the Oshkosh Farmers Markets my business has grown over the last 2 years in ways I once didn't think was possible; Oshkosh is a very special town for small businesses and will always have my heart 💚 but I've come to realize : depending on my ability to haul my business somewhere multiple times a week is NOT a sustainable business practice.
It's time to move on and move out folks! On to the next Adventure. I'll still do the occasional in person event but I am hoping to have more weekends with my family.
