Let’s talk RETINAL because you should know WHY your skincare works, not just WHAT to use.

You’ve probably heard of retinol, but retinal (retinaldehyde) is having a moment — and for good reason.

Retinal is one step closer to retinoic acid than retinol, so your skin has less converting to do before it reaches its active form.

And here’s what I really want you to know: retinoids aren’t simply exfoliants. They’re biomodulators, meaning they influence how your skin cells behave — including cell turnover, collagen production, pigmentation and oil production.

So when it comes to vitamin A, more isn’t necessarily better. The right form, strength and frequency matters for YOUR skin.
