These photos are about 10 years apart, and I love looking back because they’re such a good reminder that becoming a better stylist doesn’t happen overnight. It comes from continuing education, trying new techniques, learning from mistakes, staying inspired, and never deciding that you already know enough.
The goal isn’t to look back and criticize your old work—it’s to recognize how far your craft has come. Trends change, techniques evolve, products get better, and as stylists, we should be evolving right along with them.
