I am so sad this day has come. In just a few hours I will crown the new US Miss Remarkable. It was truly an honor to be the first US Miss Remarkable in the non ambulatory division. I loved having this title! I loved being part of this incredible Queen Team! We truly had an incredible group of ladies that made sure all the Remarkables were included and got to participate a lot! I just want each and every one of you to know how truly grateful I am for you and your support and love. You ladies truly have a heart of gold! All of you. I’m going to miss being a queen with you but I truly hope to keep up with all that you do and see you again as my forever sisters.

The Queens trip to Orlando last summer was spectacular. It was something that I have never been a part of. Getting to go on a fun trip with my sister queens was so much fun!!

Melissa Jones thank you for opening your pageant to those with disabilities and giving us the opportunity to shine and show the world that I CAN TOO! And your administrative staff, you guys are just the best and work so incredibly hard to make sure everything goes so well!

To the next US Remarkble hold on to each moment this year provides because it goes so fast. Wear that crown with pride knowing that you are truly making a difference in our world of disabilities. I’m so proud of you already and I can’t wait to watch your year as you reign!

Finally to my oldest Pageant Pal, US Miss - Remarkable Ambulatory, Madison Woods. It was such an honor to reign with you this year. We have been friends for 14+ years and then to get this chance to be inaugural queens together was just incredible. I love you so much and I’m so thankful that at least our journey together has not come to an end. We have lots more to do in this world and together we will be!
