Miss Puerto Rico United States was created to empower and provide an important platform to the Puerto Rican women/men (must be 30% Puerto Rican) that were either born in the island or within the states. In order to compete the young lady/man must be a permanent resident of one of the 50 states of the United States. The competitors must understand Spanish but does not need to be fluent, but speakin
g English is a must. The competitors must be naturally born female or male (must provide valet birth certificate) and may compete in the categories of:
Tiny Ms. Ages 3-8,
Little Miss Puerto Rico United States. Ages 9-12
Pre-Teen Puerto Rico United States. Ages 13-15,
Miss (single never married, no children) Puerto Rico United States. Ages 16-21
Mrs. (married, divorced, widow, with or without children) Puerto Rico United States. Ages 22 and above. We will have a Plus Category and a male category. How can you win? This is a virtual pageant. The goal is to reach every Puerto Rican living in the United States that would like to compete. You must summit a 3–5-minute platform on why you are the best candidate for this title. In your platform you should include any community involvement, recognitions, awards or anything you do to make a difference in your community. You must also tell us how you will use your title to communicate the values, customs and traditions of being a Puerto Rican. Areas of competition.
