I just vibe with my baddies and tell them what’s best for their hair 🤷🏽♀️
The best sales strategy is giving AF about your clients … oop 🫣
The high-maintenance appointment for the low-maintenance baddie✨
That BEFORE is Jennifer at about 8 weeks of growout and look at how much shape her brows still have.
She’s been consistent with her Brow Wows for over 3 years and THIS is why consistency matters.
When we first started, Jennifer had super full, unruly brows that could very easily lose their shape between appointments. Now, even fully grown in, they still know where TF they belong😂
Consistent waxing can also lead to softer/finer-feeling regrowth for some clients over time, which makes that in-between stage feel a whole lot less chaotic. Of course, everybody’s growth pattern is different, but maintenance really does make a difference.
And because my girl is the definition of low maintenance, this is exactly why the Brow Wow works for her. She handles the maintenance with me in the suite so everyday life requires almost nothing from her.
Every Brow Wow includes:
✨ Brow mapping (yes, EVERY appointment, even after 3 years)
✨ Custom shaping
✨ Brow stain
✨ Lamination
BrowWow results are customized to your natural brow, lifestyle + the way YOU actually like to wear them
Consistency doesn’t mean copy + paste. Your brows are getting assessed and customized every. single. time.
And today just happens to be Jennifer’s birthday, so everybody wish one of my OG baddies a happy birthday🥹🎂
everyone: “you’re so young & successful. I wish I had my s**t together like you do”
me: 28, multiple businesses, empty stomach & approximately 4 functioning brain cells while someone’s calling bc they need something immediate from me only
There are some things we can tell you about MINDBODYBAG all day long… but it hits different hearing it from the women who actually experienced it.
The intention was never just to give women a cute weekend away. It was to create enough quiet for the conversations we usually don’t have time for. The ones about what we need, what we’ve been carrying, what we’re ready to put down, and who we’re becoming next.
Sometimes you don’t even realize how badly you needed space until someone finally gives you permission to take it.
These are their words. Their experiences. Their transformations❤️🔥
MINDBODYBAG 2027 is coming.
If something in you keeps wondering what is this and how do I get there?… the waitlist is open✨
Curly hair trauma is real.
And if you’ve ever sat in someone’s chair, asked for one thing, and left feeling like you lost part of yourself… then you already know how scary it can be to trust someone new with your curls.
There are more curl specialists popping up every day, and I think that makes it even more important to slow down, listen, and actually earn a client’s trust.
My goal is never to rush you into some dramatic transformation. It’s to make sure you feel heard.
To take baby steps when baby steps are what you need.
To remember that what looks like a “small change” to me can feel HUGE when it’s your hair.
This baddie first came to me struggling with dryness, lack of definition, and volume. Now she’s back for her four-month maintenance, more confident in her curls and actually excited to keep taking care of them.
That part means everything to me.
Because for me, being a curl specialist isn’t just about creating a beautiful shape.
It’s about creating a safe enough experience that textured-hair baddies actually want to come back.
And as someone who knows what it feels like to have bad experiences with your own hair, that will always be one of the biggest parts of my mission behind the chair❤️🔥
Turns out I was never meant to choose one thing.
I get to create with my hands, lead with my mind, build with my heart, and somehow call all of it work.
Hair. Business. Content. Community. Teaching. Creating.
I used to think being multifaceted meant I needed to figure out which version of me was the “real” one.
Now I know the art is in letting all of HER exist ✨
