I may get itchy eyes, runny nose, splotchy skin - and I know I am going to sweat ALL NIGHT on polyester sheets 🥵

Can't top my son's reaction to seeing me without my super curly hair for the first time (previous post) but gotta love MR CURL NINJA for always making me feel 🔥

You can love our straight hair, we just need you to love our curls more 😇

Chemicals such as phthalates, BPA/bisphenols, parabens and some other persistent environmental chemicals can interfere with hormone signaling. Hormones are also involved in development of the immune system, particularly during fetal life and infancy.

This is how we most commonly get exposed to EDCs:
☣️synthetic fragrances which appear as "fragrance" or "parfum" on the ingredient lists of hair products, skincare, deodorant, cleaning products, hand and dish soap, and detergent
☣️ synthetic colorants which appear as "Red 40, Blue 1, Yellow 5 or any other combination of a color and number" on the ingredient lists of food, beverages, personal care, and cleaning products
☣️ "Artificial flavors" in food and beveages
☣️plastic packaging which contaminates food, beverages, and hair/skincare (including aluminum which has a plastic lining inside - so yes your canned water habit has to go)
☣️ pesticides used on non-organic produce
Most of these are made from petrochemical feedstocks.⛽️
