Sherell RoseGreen was on the brink of a promising singing career when she met and fell in love with a man she believed would love and protect her. Instead, the relationship became a devastating journey of domestic violence.
After becoming pregnant, Sherell endured abuse throughout her pregnancy. At nine months pregnant, she was violently body-slammed into a brick wall. The back of her head began to bleed, and she lost consciousness. She was rushed to Broward General Hospital, where doctors discovered that her placenta had been severely torn beyond repair.

Her precious son, deprived of oxygen, tragically died in her arms just hours after birth.
But Sherell RoseGreen refused to allow tragedy to silence her.
Today, she has transformed her pain into purpose. As a motivational speaker, gospel singer, author, playwright, and domestic violence advocate, Sherell is determined to use her testimony to bring hope to victims and survivors who may feel trapped, afraid, or alone.
Her powerful story inspired her book, “Abused Under His Charm,” as well as a stage play of the same name. Her vision is to take this message around the world, bringing domestic violence out of the darkness and into the light.
