I work to find the root cause of physical and emotional symptoms and correct them naturally. https://thewellnessnp.start.page

Early motherhood has had me giving 95% of myself to everyone else.

The other 5%? I’m learning to save that for me.

Not because I need to “escape” motherhood or because my family doesn’t come first—but because I’m still a person outside of being a mom.

Sometimes it’s 20 minutes of Pilates.
Sometimes it’s a few chapters of a book.
Sometimes it’s simply putting on a little makeup and drinking my matcha in peace.

It doesn’t have to be extravagant to count.

Sometimes 5% is enough to remind you that you’re still you underneath the diapers, feedings, schedules, and everyone else’s needs.

A little bit of me, every day, helps me show up as the version of myself—and mom—I want to be.

Whats your 5%? 🤍

Small business owners, let’s support each other. 🤍

I’m opening up a few opportunities for service-based collaborations with women and businesses whose work aligns with my own.

Rather than a traditional paid exchange, I’m interested in finding ways to share our expertise and create something mutually beneficial.

If you offer a service that could support my business or personal life — or you have an idea for a collaboration — I’d love to hear from you.

DM me and tell me what you do. ✨

I’m a big believer that the skin can tell us a story. 🤍

When my 3-year-old started dealing with eczema at 5 months old, I didn’t want my entire approach to be “what cream should I put on it?”

I started looking at the bigger picture—her gut, digestion, microbiome, nutrition and inflammatory balance.

One of my favorite ways to sneak in extra support is through her daily shake. 🥤

Nothing complicated. Just small nutritional additions to something she already enjoys.

Because supporting the body isn’t always about adding more—sometimes it’s about making the things we already do a little more nourishing.

Gut health → skin health → overall health.

And if she knew everything that was going into that shake… she’d probably stop drinking it. 😂🤍🤫

I wish women knew that…

Cortisol isn’t the enemy.

Your body needs cortisol for energy, blood sugar regulation, blood pressure, immune function and responding to stress.

The problem is when your stress response becomes chronically dysregulated.

And it’s not always emotional stress.

Your body can also perceive:
→ under-eating
→ blood sugar swings
→ poor sleep
→ excessive exercise
→ illness/inflammation
→ postpartum demands
→ chronic life stress

as stress.

So instead of asking, “How do I lower my cortisol?”

Ask:

“Why does my body feel like it needs to stay in stress mode?”

That’s where the deeper investigation begins. 🤍

Healthcare should feel like you have someone in your corner. 🤍

Someone who listens to the whole story.
Who takes the time to explain your labs.
Who asks why instead of simply treating the symptom.
Who remembers what you talked about last time.
Who celebrates your wins and keeps looking for answers when you’re still not feeling your best.

That’s the kind of care I believe in.

Functional medicine + personalized care + the convenience of telehealth — because your appointment should feel less like checking a box and more like having someone genuinely rooting for you.

And honestly… having your healthcare provider in your corner from the comfort of your own home?

Kind of chic. ✨

IBS is a diagnosis of exclusion—but it shouldn’t be the end of the conversation.

While IBS is a recognized gastrointestinal disorder, many factors can contribute to the symptoms people experience, including digestive dysfunction, gut microbiome imbalances, thyroid disorders, food intolerances, stress, and altered gut motility. Not every person with IBS has the same root cause, which is why a personalized approach is so important.

The goal isn’t simply to label symptoms—it’s to understand what’s driving them.

✨ Save this post for later and share it with someone who’s been told they “just have IBS.”

Picky eating isn’t always just a “phase.”

Sometimes it’s worth looking deeper:
✨ Gut microbiome balance
✨ Iron status
✨ Zinc levels
✨ Constipation
✨ Sensory preferences

While these aren’t the cause in every child, they can all influence appetite, taste, and willingness to try new foods.

Supporting picky eaters starts with curiosity—not blame. 🌱

There was a time when fast food sounded like the easiest option.

Now? I genuinely crave the meals I make at home.

Not because I have to…
Because I feel the difference.

✨ More energy
✨ Better digestion
✨ Stable blood sugar
✨ Nourishing ingredients I can trust

When you consistently fuel your body with real, nutrient-dense foods, your taste buds begin to change. The drive-thru loses its appeal because your body starts asking for what helps it thrive.

Home-cooked meals > fast food. Every time. 🤍
