YES, I’m cutting the extensions. ✂️👀
When you’re blending 22” extensions into shoulder-length hair, the cut is just as important as the install.
Strategic cutting + blending helps eliminate that obvious line between your natural hair and the extensions, creating a seamless transition from short to long.
Because the goal isn’t just longer hair—it’s extensions that look like they could actually be yours. 🤍
Meet The Teagan Curl. ✨ My go-to technique for a soft, effortless curl with plenty of movement.
Here’s how I do it:
✨ Using my Bio Ionic 1.25” Long Barrel at 320–360°F, clamp the hair, leaving about 1 inch out at the bottom.
✨ Roll the hair up around the iron and hold for a second.
✨ Then comes the key: slightly open the clamp and loop the iron downward, releasing a little hair as you unwrap. Continue to repeat until the hair is completely out of the iron.
✨ Once everything is curled, let the curls completely cool before brushing them out. This gives you that soft, lived-in finish while helping the curl hold.

That second shampoo isn’t just extra—it can make all the difference. The first wash helps remove oil and product buildup, while the second gives your shampoo a chance to really cleanse your scalp.
Finish with conditioner through your mids + ends for softness and hydration.
