I can’t believe it’s been 2 years since I took a leap of faith and opened my first business, Testimony Beauty Bar. It originally started as a one chair salon suite. Many of my clients enjoyed the solitude and the opportunity to have private conversations- It was a huge change from my previous salon where there was always 4-5 stylist and several clients. A few of my clients urged me to fill the suite with more stylist but I always said if it’s meant to be it’ll happen. Well it happened! My one chair suite quickly grew to three.

Well, three became two- freeing up just enough space in the suite to display products from my second business JMonaeBeautySupply.com.

Thinking of how I started my first business based on my God given gift; now that business houses my second business based on the needs of my clients. Let’s just say I’m blessed and forever grateful. I’m excited for what the next year will bring.

My name is Capria but I go by Pria or Ne. I’m 24 yrs old. I have a son. I started off doing my own hair back in high school , once I graduate in 2014 I moved to Virginia where I applied for hair school, then moved back home and just picked back up and expanded my work with hair. I recently quit my job to do hair full time. I would love to branch off on my own once I get everything organized.

Hi , my name is Tierra Williams but go by Tee. I started my braiding company which is named Beauty Empire in November of 2019. I’ve been braiding since I was in high school. I started to do my little cousins hair and sister. Then one day in November I was like I should start doing other people hair. It was gift that I was blessed with so I wanted to bless others and make them feel good about themselves. Every head I’ve touched they loved their braids and it also put a smile on their face.

So yesterday I did this thing where I INVESTED in MYSELF. Thank you for sharing your techniques and knowledge with me. Thank you for being the most helpful model ever. I learned so much in this class from wig customization/construction, wig/frontal installation, networking, etc. My skills aren’t perfected yet however my model walked into Walgreens yesterday and the lady at the register was ready to book an appt with me 💁🏽‍♀️ New services will be added to the site shortly along with some bomb specials
