School holiday, so the kids are home. Got in a nice long walk this morning, and I finally got to check on the chickens without a bee attack. After last week I was holding my breath the whole coop trip, but the flock is happy and the coop is drama-free.

Like yes, the chickens don't care. The goats don't care. The bees DEFINITELY don't care. But *I* care. There's something about walking out to the coop with a finished face that makes me feel like I have my life together, even if I'm wearing my husband's jacket over my robe and dodging bees 😭
