25 years later… and we reconnect like no time has passed 🥹✂️
We graduated high school together and hadn’t seen each other since. Fast forward 25 years, I call the Mayor’s office in Old Bridge to schedule 303 Collective’s ribbon cutting and realize the person on the other end is an old high school friend.
She wanted to come support the new business… and naturally, I wanted to get my hands in her hair. 😂
And we did NOT play it safe.
We traded the chunky, high-contrast dimension she came in with for something richer, deeper and much more intentional, then took off about 5 inches and gave her a completely fresh bob.
For the color, I reached for Wella Pure Perfection. Since this was my first time coloring her hair, I loved being able to create this kind of dramatic change with an ammonia-free color line I trust.
Richer dimension. Healthier-looking hair. A brand new shape. And a friendship picked back up 25 years later. 🤎
Sometimes life really does come full circle.
And apparently, full circle looks pretty damn good on her 🫶

303 Collective is so much more than a place where we transform hair. It’s a space built on years of experience, a shared passion for an industry that has allowed us to build careers while still prioritizing motherhood, and most importantly, a genuine respect for one another.
What started as two independent women with their own businesses and their own visions somehow became one really beautiful shared dream.
And now we get to say… we built it. ✂️✨

Moments like this - blowing out her hair comes secondary to the bonding session we get to have.
And chicken with wedgies 😂
There have been so many moments in this career when I doubted myself.
Times I questioned whether I was good enough. Ready enough. Talented enough. Brave enough. Times I wondered if I was making the right decision or completely losing my mind.
And somehow, every time I couldn’t see what was ahead, God already could.
The doors that opened. The ones that closed. The people placed in my path. The opportunities I never could have planned for myself. Even the seasons that felt like setbacks eventually made sense.
My faith is very much a part of who I am and how I’ve made it through every version of this journey.
I’ve doubted myself more times than I can count.
But He’s never stopped showing me that there was a plan bigger than mine.
So on this Sunday, I’m just feeling especially grateful for every prayer that was answered… and maybe even more grateful for the ones that weren’t. 🤍

Sweet cinnamon.
Maybe it’s my Italian roots, but there’s something about a rich brunette with just the right amount of warmth that gets me every time. 🤌🏼
For this Dolce Cannella, I used Wella Professionals Pure Perfection from root to ends, lifting her root and then using the same color line to glaze those ribbons into the perfect warm cinnamon brunette.
And THAT is one reason why I’m loving Pure Perfection. The versatility is top notch. By mixing my selected tones 2:1 with Pastel Developer, I can shift from permanent color to the soft, glossy tonal results I want through the lengths, all with an ammonia free formula and without added fragrance, silicones, mineral oils or PPD/PTD.
