Would you believe me if I said that her last appointment was almost TWO MONTHS AGO?? Yep, it had been seven weeks since her last fill, and she was still getting compliments on them 6 weeks in. When she came in yesterday, I was expecting every extension to be gone - and was surprised to hear that they had only started heavily shedding a couple of days ago!

I had to make her PROMISE me not to go that long between appointments again, not only is it not ideal for the health of the natural lashes as the extensions grow out, but I also missed her way too much!

Here’s your guide to the key differences between 💖 Lauren | UV Lash Supplies & Education Sacred Bond + Sacred Bloom UV adhesives 🫶🏻

COLOR - sacred bond has a blue tint, while sacred bloom is pink but both cure transparent! The pink color of Sacred Bond does play a key role into its cure time, the light basically refracts off of it like a disco ball!

VISCOSITY - sacred bond had a medium/thick viscosity, while sacred beam has a thin viscosity. I prefer a thinner adhesive, but it all comes down to your workflow as to which is a better fit for you

CURE TIME - Sacred Bond has a 2-3 second cure time. One of the most common frustrations with light cured lash artists is wanting to speed up their appointments but feeling a bit stuck because of their adhesive’s cure time - enter, sacred bloom. With a 1-2 second cure time, I could tell I was moving quicker (even on my first appointment using it)

CYANOACRYLATE CONTENT - Sacred Bond has a 75% cyanoacrylate content, which makes it fantastic for clients with sensitivities to traditional lash adhesive. In order to achieve its quick cure time, Sacred Bloom does have a slightly higher CA content of 90% - but it’s still a significant difference between the 95-99% CA in traditional lash adhesives

All in all, I really love working with Sacred Bloom so far, and I can definitely see it becoming my go-to adhesive - but I will definitely be keeping a bottle of Sacred Bond on hand for my sensitive girlies! Remember, these adhesives aren’t competing with each other- they are sisters who each serve a different purpose.
