On my way out the door to go to school for grooming and the school nurse called from bubbas school to tell me he has a bee sting…..like mother like son because that was me this summer(but on inside of my armpit area.) Super painful and the next 7 days there will be more reactions from it. Unfortunately I know from experience.

The calm before the storm

88 years ago my paternal grandparents were married and they were the best grandparents a kid could ask for!! Happy Heavenly 88th Anniversary! Also today……..16 years ago was the last time my Mom opened her eyes to kiss me and tell me she loved me. I wish we were all together, like we are in my dreams, celebrating. I miss you all so much!

Halloween decorations inside and outside have started going up

I made the mistake of taking the high anxiety- ultra diva dog to pet grooming academy and she full on embarrassed me and scratched the s**t out of me. Totally uncooperative. 🤦🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️ not feeling too hopeful now…. She really flattened my ego. Back to square one. Cookie…..💪🤌🏻🙄

This is a picture of me, 24 yrs old, holding my nephew Brandon in the middle of September 2001 at a baby shower for his soon to be baby brother at bourbon street in bayside. I was the godmother to his baby brother Michael. I was wearing a red, white and blue pinned into my sequin top. My godson Michael was born on October 14th, 2001…..Mikey’s birthday. They still had not found Mikey’s body yet when this pic was taken….they found him on the morning of Thanksgiving day which I think was also his dad’s birthday.

25 years ago 246 people went to sleep in preparation for their morning flights. 2,606 people went to sleep in preparation for work in the morning. 343 firefighters (Michael Elferis, Michael Mullan, and Sergio Villanueva) went to sleep in preparation for their morning shift. 60 police officers went to sleep in preparation for morning patrol. 8 paramedics went to sleep in preparation for the morning shift. None of them saw past 10:00am Sept 11, 2001. In one single moment life may never be the same.
