Our 2026 Annual Farm Bureau dinner was last night at the Southeastern Livestock Auditorium. We wanted to give a huge shout out to everyone that helped last night and to the huge group of members that attended.

We had 2 FFA Chapters help this year,
North Marion High School FFA and Micanopy Area Cooperative FFA.

Cowboyz Bar-B-Q did an amazing job on the food, providing a huge spread of barbecue ribs and chicken and delicious sides.

Thank you to the Marion County Ag Deputies, Senator Rick Scott - Aid Bonita Scase, Jeanni Rickman-Kat Cammack’s aid, Rep. Richard Gentry and the Marion County Property Appraisers for attending the dinner.

During last nights board meeting our speech winners joined us to present their speeches to the group and receive feedback on their presentation. They both had amazing speeches.

We wish them the best of luck as they head to the District Speech Contest in September.

Almost missed Cow Appreciation Day!!

As we head home from an incredible conference, I hope the group is leaving with new knowledge, fresh ideas, and valuable connections. It was a pleasure meeting so many inspiring people and learning from outstanding speakers.

Thank you to everyone who made this event such a success. I’m looking forward to putting what we have learned into practice and staying connected with the amazing people I met along the way.
