Where are my pale girls at!? ๐ป- letโs chat the most important things to note when slayโn the routine.
For very pale skin, the goal is warmth and dimension without looking washed out or orange. Hereโs what works best:
1) Base & Color Matching
Undertone first: Pale doesnโt mean one shade. Check if youโre cool = pink/blue undertones, warm = yellow/peach, neutral = mix. Swatch foundation on your jawline in natural light. If it disappears, itโs your match.
**Donโt go too light: A shade lighter than your neck can make you look ghostly. Match your neck/chest, not your wrist.
2) Add Dimension Back
Bronzer: Skip orange tones. Use a neutral taupe or light neutral-brown bronzer. Apply where sun hits: hairline, cheekbones, jawline. Less is more.
Blush is your best friend: Pale skin can look flat without it. Soft peaches, rose, or muted pink look most natural. Cream blush gives a healthy-from-within glow.
Subtle contour: Use cool-toned contour, not warm bronzer. Think shadow, not stripe. Place it under cheekbones, sides of nose, jawline.
3) Lips
Nudes: Pick n**e with a hint of peach or pink so you donโt look washed out. Avoid concealer-lip shades.
Pops of color: Pale skin makes color stand out beautifully. True reds, berry, and soft corals are gorgeous. Blue-reds look amazing on cool undertones.
๐ฌCommon Mistakes to Avoid ๐ฌ
Using foundation with SPF for photos โ causes flashback and makes you look paler.
Orange bronzer or self-tanner thatโs too dark.
Skipping blush. Itโs non-negotiable for pale skin.
Harsh black liner all around the eye โ can look aging.
